Officers from the Metropolitan Police arrested six people at various locations across the Capital as a march of tens of thousands of people travelled from Portland Place to Picadilly Circus and back to Trafalgar Square yesterday where tempers soared at an anti-Trump rally.
Police yesteday confirmed four men had been detained; one on suspicion of assult, one on suspicion of of assaulting a police officer, another on suspicion of public order offences and another arrested for recall to prison.
A further two protesters were arrested late yesterday evening at 7.15pm, but details of their arrests and the locations of where they were arrested are yet to be released.
the four men, however, were taken to a central London police station.
